Sometimes a road leads you to unfamiliar places full of adventure yet to be had. While other times a road will lead you to a place familiar and full of memories of amazing adventures.

Happy November!

Standing at the end of the continent of Africa, a place I never dreamed I would be in. It is called the Cape of Good Hope and amongst the stones smoothed by the waves of the sea. There was hope. I am leaving South Africa with hope and I am leaving changed. The amazing people I have met said “you can not come here and leave the same you must leave changed”. Changed and full of hope I begin my journey home.

Summer in the states has given way to fall… yet, in South Africa it is spring heading into summer… perfect day for surf lessons! #venturingfree #summertoremember
